§ 8-2085. Availability of reports, orders, recommendations.

  • (a)

    After any order, report or recommendation has been made by an official or employee of the city and is on file in their respective department, such information shall upon request be made available to the owner of the property or his authorized agent, a prospective purchaser, the manager of the property, the attorney for any of the foregoing, any attorney for the examination of titles, and any official or employee of the city for official purposes.

    (b)

    All orders, certificates, notices, waivers, and reports made pursuant to this Code shall be maintained for at least five years.

    (c)

    Availability. The records referred to in subsection (b) shall be made available during business hours for examination and/or copying as required by law.

    (d)

    Certification. The director shall designate an employee or employees as keepers of the records referred to in subsection (b). Such employee or employees shall be authorized to certify under seal, copies of such records for admission in evidence under O.C.G.A. § 24-7-21.
