§ 154-30. Placement of fi. fa. for delinquent bills.

The chief financial officer or other duly authorized collector of water and sewer charges shall, after the failure of any person to pay delinquent water and sewer bills and the commissioner of the department of watershed management has certified that other methods of collection are ineffective, place a fi. fa. on the property where service was received and shall maintain a docket on delinquent water and sewer bills which shall be available for examination; in addition to any delinquent water and sewer bills, the chief financial officer is authorized to charge the property owner any costs for the execution of the fi. fa. and maintenance of this docket.
