Reclassification upward.
An employee in a position that is reclassified to a class in a higher grade shall
be compensated as prescribed in section 114-127, compensation upon promotion.
(b)
Reclassification downward.
Upon an employee's position being reclassified to a class in a lower pay grade, such
employee shall be compensated in accordance with section 114-128(b), non-disciplinary demotion and shall be eligible to receive salary increases up
to the maximum salary of the lower grade.
