§ 110-38. Functions and duties of bureau of cultural affairs.

The functions and duties of the bureau of cultural affairs shall include:

(1)

Operating and scheduling the use of the cyclorama and other special recreational and cultural facilities of the city;

(2)

Developing, implementing and monitoring special cultural events programs;

(3)

Administering a program of municipal support of the arts;

(4)

Oversight responsibility of the contract for Zoo Atlanta;

(5)

Establishing, organizing and maintaining a network and strategy to respond to the demand for the city's officials to support a variety of cultural community initiatives; and

(6)

Developing policies and procedures to implement the public art master plan.
