Article II. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION |
§ 110-37. Qualifications of director, bureau of cultural affairs.
In addition to the general qualifications set out in Charter, appendix IV, section 3(a), the director, bureau of cultural affairs shall have the following qualifications:
(1)
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree and one year of graduate study in business or public administration, liberal arts, fine arts, art history or a related field and three years of supervisory experience in program development, advocacy and administration; public relations; multifaceted cultural programs management; theater, convention center, auditorium or related facility management; grants program administration or related area;
(2)
Five years of experience at a supervisory level in the areas specified in subsection (1) of this section; or
(3)
Any equivalent combination of the qualifications set out in subsections (1) and (2) of this section.
