§ 110-37. Qualifications of director, bureau of cultural affairs.

  • In addition to the general qualifications set out in Charter, appendix IV, section 3(a), the director, bureau of cultural affairs shall have the following qualifications:

    (1)

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree and one year of graduate study in business or public administration, liberal arts, fine arts, art history or a related field and three years of supervisory experience in program development, advocacy and administration; public relations; multifaceted cultural programs management; theater, convention center, auditorium or related facility management; grants program administration or related area;

    (2)

    Five years of experience at a supervisory level in the areas specified in subsection (1) of this section; or

    (3)

    Any equivalent combination of the qualifications set out in subsections (1) and (2) of this section.
