This chapter is enacted pursuant to the City of Atlanta's exclusive zoning and planning
authority granted by the Constitution of the State of Georgia, including but not limited
to article 9, section 2, paragraph 4, and article 9, section 2, paragraph 3, as well
as authority granted by the General Assembly of the State of Georgia, including but
not limited to O.C.G.A. section 36-70-3, the City of Atlanta Charter, sections 1-102(b) and 1-102(c)(16), (20), (21), (29), (41), and (42), as well as the general police powers of
the City of Atlanta and other authority provided by federal, state and local laws
applicable hereto.
