§ 74-163. Refusal to comply with an order to abate a nuisance.

  • The failure or refusal of a person ordered to abate a nuisance after a hearing, or upon a summary abatement, shall, in addition to subjecting the person to punishment for contempt if the order is issued by the judge of the municipal court, constitute an offense which, upon conviction, shall be punished as provided in section 1-8. Each day's failure or refusal to comply with the order, after the expiration of the time allowed in which to remove or abate the nuisance, shall constitute a separate offense.
