§ 30-1357. Application.
(a)
Required. All private street patrols and agencies within the city shall apply annually to the mayor or the mayor's designee for a permit to follow such business or vocation.
(b)
Character of applicant. All private street patrols or street patrol agencies and their employees shall be of good moral and professional character.
(c)
Photograph of applicant. Such private street patrol agents shall attach to each such application a photograph of the private street patrol agent making such application. If application is made by a firm, the photograph of each member of the firm shall be attached thereto.
(d)
Filing. It shall be unlawful for any private street patrol or street patrol agency within the limits of the city to operate without filing annually the application and attaching the photograph required in this section and without having such application granted or approved, as provided in this division. The application and the photographs shall be filed in the department of police with a filing fee of $10.00.
