§ 30-617. Suspension or revocation.

  • (a)

    No permit issued under this division shall be suspended or revoked, except for due cause, as provided in subsection (b) of this section, and after a hearing and upon a proper five-day written notice to the holder of such permit of the time, place and purpose of such hearing and a statement of the charge upon which such hearing shall be held.

    (b)

    Due cause for the suspension or revocation of such permit shall consist of the violation of any laws or sections of this Code or other ordinances regulating such persons or for the violation of regulations made pursuant to authority granted for the purpose of regulating such persons or for the violation of any state or federal law or for the violation of any sections of this Code or other city ordinances other than the traffic ordinances.

    (c)

    The license review board is delegated the authority to conduct the hearings and report its findings and recommendations to the mayor. The mayor may suspend any such permit. The suspension may be made effective immediately and remain in force until the next regular meeting of the license review board.
