§ 30-611. Required.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in door to door sales of consumer goods or services in the city without first obtaining a permit from the city. Prior to any solicitation provided for in this article, the person making the solicitation shall, before making any other statement, state the following:
(1)
The identity of the person making the solicitation;
(2)
The name and address of the person represented by such person; and
(3)
The identity or kinds of goods or services being offered for sale.
(b)
In addition to meeting the requirements set forth in subsection (a) of this section, the person making the solicitation shall show and display identification which states the information required by statement. Such identification shall be on a form approved by the mayor or the mayor's designee.
