§ 2-1622. Authority to suspend, disqualify or debar.

The director, after consulting with the chief procurement officer and the city attorney's office, is authorized to suspend, disqualify or debar a person or business for cause for consideration for award of contracts by the city for a period of up to five years, when such cause is based upon a finding under the EBO or EEO ordinances, or a finding of impropriety, fraud, or violation of local, state or federal law including, but not limited to, a violation of section 2-1296, section 2-1366, or section 2-1373.
