The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the
meanings ascribed to them in this section:
Cooperative purchasing
means procurement conducted by or on behalf of more than one public procurement unit.
Public procurement unit
means the United States Government or any department, agency or division thereof;
any county, city, town and any subdivision of the state or public agency of any such
subdivision; public authority, educational, health or other institution; any other
entity which expends public funds for procurement of supplies, services or construction.
