§ 2-346. Inventories of department property.

  • The chief financial officer shall require and it is made the duty of each department to make and keep continuous inventories of the property of the department and, at regular intervals and at any other time when in the judgment of the chief financial officer it is necessary, make reports of the inventories to the chief financial officer. The chief financial officer shall make this property accounting one of the features of the bookkeeping system of such departments.
