§ 2-342. Expenditures for continuing operation of city.

The chief financial officer, with the approval of the mayor and monthly report to the council, shall be authorized to make such expenditures of city funds as are deemed necessary and proper for the continuing operation of the city and its various departments, in accordance with good businesslike practices, between July 1 and such time as the new general budget for the city is adopted by the mayor and council.
