§ 2-232. Functions and duties of the department of information technology.

  • The functions and duties of the Department of Atlanta Information Management ("AIM") shall include:

    (1)

    Overseeing the development of the citywide information and technology strategy;

    (2)

    Coordinating all telephony, voice and data equipment and communications to and from city facilities;

    (3)

    Coordinating development of information technology-related policies and operational procedures and the standards for the city's information technology infrastructure and architecture;

    (4)

    Managing large-scale system implementation projects and other efforts in regard to information technology; and

    (5)

    Maintaining the integrity of all data warehouses and systems.
