§ 162-34. Inspections, generally.

(a)

Taxicabs authorized to operate in accordance with chapter 22 of the city Code of Ordinances shall only be subject to inspections in accordance therewith.

(b)

Animal-drawn vehicles shall be subject to semiannual inspections.

(c)

Nothing in this Article shall prohibit the inspection of a vehicle for hire based upon the reasonable suspicion of violations under this article by a department code enforcement agent or police officer.

(d)

There shall be no fees imposed for inspection performed under this article.
