This section and all sections beginning with 154-73 shall collectively be known as the "City of Atlanta Water Use Restrictions Ordinance"
and may be referred to throughout sections beginning with 154-73 as "this ordinance."
(b)
City of Atlanta has the authority to adopt this ordinance pursuant to Article 9, Section
2, Paragraphs II and III of the Constitution of the State of Georgia, Chapter 35 of Title 36, Section 31 of Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Section 7 of
Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the Georgia Department
of Natural Resources Rules for Outdoor Water Use, Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. Ch. 391-3-30,
and Section 1-102(c)(9) of the Atlanta City Charter (1996 Ga. L. (Act No. 1019), p. 4469).
