§ 122-67. Receiving goods from underage persons.

It shall be unlawful for any pawnbroker or the pawnbroker's agents or employees to receive in pawn from any person under 18 years of age goods of any character or description. Any pawnbroker taking from an applicant a statement in writing that the applicant is of age will not be deemed to have violated this section if the appearance of the applicant as to age and size makes it uncertain that the person is not 18 years of age.
