The provisions of this division are applicable to all city employees. The use of the
term "employee" shall include any person holding any position or employment with the
city, to include without any limitation, employees of any status or tenure, appointed
and elected officials, members of commissions and boards, agents, representatives
or interns. The city encourages reporting of all incidents of sexual harassment, regardless
of who the offender may be, in accordance with the methods set forth in section 114-604.
(b)
In order to ensure the integrity of the work environment, managerial and supervisory
personnel are required to ensure adherence to and compliance with this policy and,
upon being informed of possible harassment, are required to take appropriate, prompt
action in response thereto, including informing complainants of their rights under
the procedures set forth in this policy.
