§ 114-567. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Substances includes the following:
(1)

Alcohol;

(2)

Illegal drugs, including but not limited to marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and any derivatives thereof;

(3)

Legal drugs and other substances which may impair an employee's ability to effectively perform job functions; and

(4)

Any other dangerous drugs or controlled substances as defined by state law.
