§ 114-428. Paid leave for health screenings for certain health concerns.

(a)
The city shall make available up to four hours of paid leave, one time per calendar
year, to regular, full-time city employees for the purpose of undergoing health screening
for cardiovascular disease, cancer, HIV, diabetes and pneumonia/influenza.
(b)
Employees must submit to their supervisor or appropriate department personnel representative
a signed copy of the medical documentation verifying they underwent a health screening
for one or more of the above illness or disease processes, in order to be granted
leave under provisions of this section.
