§ 110-35. Qualifications of director, bureau of recreation.

  • In addition to the general qualifications set out in Charter, appendix IV, section 3(a), the director, bureau of recreation shall have the following qualifications:

    (1)

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree and one year of graduate study in recreation administration, business administration, public administration, physical education or a related field and three years of supervisory experience which include experience in recreation management involving the development of comprehensive athletics, general recreation or other related programs;

    (2)

    Eight years of experience at a supervisory level which include five years in the areas specified in subsection (1) of this section; or

    (3)

    Any equivalent combination of the qualifications set forth in subsections (1) and (2) of this section.
