§ 110-33. Qualifications of director, bureau of parks.

In addition to the general qualifications set out in Charter, appendix IV, section 3(a), the director, bureau of parks shall have the following qualifications:

(1)

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree and one year of graduate study in business or public administration, industrial management, landscape architecture, park administration, turf management or a related field and three years of supervisory experience in building construction and grounds maintenance, park design and construction or a related area;

(2)

Eight years of experience at a supervisory level which include five years in the areas specified in subsection (1) of this section; or

(3)

Any equivalent combination of the qualifications set forth in subsections (1) and (2) of this section.
