Chapter 110. PARKS AND RECREATION |
Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 110-4. Athletic fees.
(a)
The mayor or the mayor's designee shall be authorized to obligate the city, to the extent of available appropriations, for the payment of entry and competition fees for individuals and teams representing the city parks and recreation program so that such individuals and teams may participate in organized athletic competition as representatives of the recreation program of the city.
(b)
The director of recreation shall not make any obligation for payment of entry and competition fees until the chief financial officer shall have certified, after preaudit, that there is to the credit of the bureau of recreation a sufficient unencumbered balance, in excess of all unpaid obligations, to defray the amount of such obligation.
