§ 102-1. Special district for library services.

(a)

Created. The City of Atlanta/DeKalb County, Georgia, special district is created.

(b)

Services. There shall be furnished to residents of the special district library services by either Fulton County or DeKalb County. The exact nature of such services shall be determined by contract between the city and the county providing the services.

(c)

Financing of costs. The cost of furnishing library services in the special district shall be financed from ad valorem taxes levied upon taxable property located in the special district described in subsection (a) of this section.
