§ 7-101. Officials; officers and employees.

(a)

The current terms of office of all elected and appointed officials and officers of the city and its agencies, serving on the effective date of this Charter, shall not be diminished and shall continue in full force and effect.

(b)

The provisions of this Charter establishing a residency requirement for appointed officials and employees shall not apply to those holding such appointed offices and positions prior to the effective date of this Charter.
