§ 3-506. Compulsory retirement; waiver of penalties.

(a)

No employee of the city shall be required to retire from employment with the city based upon the age of any such employee.

(b)

Any employee of the city who has completed at least five years of service with the city and who retires under any pension plan covering city employees shall be entitled to retire upon attaining 65 years of age without the application of any vesting penalties which may be set forth under any such pension plan.
