In the event there should accumulate more funds than are needed for immediate use,
the board of trustees is empowered to invest such excess funds as authorized by applicable
laws, including but not limited to, the provisions of this act [Act] and the Georgia
Investment Authority Law, §47-20, Article 7, et seq.
